This transfer has flown by, One more week and it'll be just about over. I´ll also be hitting 6 months in just 25 days. Where has time gone? haha
Highlights from the week...
- We had both divisions and worked in a sisters area to help them find more people to teach this week, resulting in an opportunity to work with 4 different Elders. It was really neat learning experience to work with all of them. 2 of the 4 Elders were Americans in their first transfers meaning that I had to lead with Portuguese, deciding where to go and what to do. It was really cool and neat. I have found that in the times when I need to understand Portuguese (ex. with a new American missionary) I can understand and speak almost 100%. Super awesome.
- While on transfers, Elder Pulsipher and I were talking to a older man next to a lake and a drunk guy came up to us, said something about Americans then crawled under the fence around the lake and jumped in, he did it twice, crawled out of the fence and went back with his friends. Wild stuff haha.
- I sat on an `08 Honda CBR600 this week and saw a Porsche and a Mercedes-Benz coupe. Super beautiful vehicles haha.
- We have a Venezuelan family in our ward now, they came here because of the horrible economic situation in their home country. Brazil let them in and is supporting them with the populations tax money. They have been in Brazil for 8 months now and we have visited them twice. We will be receiving two more Venezuelan families in our ward in the coming months...
Love you all!
- Elder Anderson
